Here’s a quick how-to to get your Ubuntu 10.04 LTS to the newly released 12.04 LTS.

In your desktop, press ALT + F2 and run update-manager -d. You’ll see a notice that “New Ubuntu release ‘12.04 LTS’ is available” with an Upgrade button next to it. Guess what, click the Upgrade button. ;-)
