Australia’s so called “Cyber-Safety Plan ” would place them on par with the Great Firewall of China . A nationwide censorship, primarily meant to prevent childporn- and terrorist-websites from reaching their mainland through the World Wide Web, but “upgraded” to include erotic websites as well.
The plan is to allow internet-users to “opt out” of this censorship program, but that doesn’t seem to go so easily .
Yet another blow to freedom of speech.
