Chrome to restore one-click certificate viewing in browser

The current setting is horribly frustrating if you inspect or validate TLS certificates more than once a year (which, in our line of business, could happen as much as once a day).

In Chrome 60 (currently the Canary build), you’ll be able to click the green/red padlock in the browser again and immediately see the certificate details, instead of doing the stupid Inspect > Security Tab > View Certificate dance.

With a check-in on Monday night, Chrome Canary build 60.0.3088 regained a quick path to view certificates from the top-level security UI. When the new feature is enabled, you can just click the lock icon to the left of the address box, then click the β€œValid” link in the new Certificate section of the Page Information bubble to see the certificate
