I love reading these. But I must admit, I feel the pain of everyone using EC² and experiencing this massive outage first hand. Nothing you can do about it, which is probably the most frustrating part. Try explaining that to your clients.

To make matters worse, there’s a website that shows the big names that are affected by this outage: http://ec2disabled.com/. That includes big ones like Reddit, Quora, Kickstarter, Foursquare, …

Just one of the reasons you may want to consider laying some of your eggs into other baskets!
