Just a note saying my WikiLeaks indexer (where the mirrors are hosted, worldwide), is now “offline”. No more updates will be released, as the major rush on these mirrors is now over.

You can still grab a silent copy here: http://wl.mattiasgeniar.be/

I’ve received quite a bit of “hatemail” because of this, urging me to take the site offline because it would “jeopardize” the security of those mirrors. I never responded to any of them, because those requests were obviously made by idiots. The pages are online, whether I simply make the information more widely available or not is besides the point. I only used publicly available info (WHOIS requests) to determine their location/ISP.

I also didn’t place them online to make tracking them down easier. I did it primarly to see if any of the mirrors would be hosted on our network. Since they obviously formed a hot target for DDoS attacks, it was something worth watching.

Either way, only the static page will remain, no more parsing and updating.
